Description:

The wise ones say, 'What you pay attention to grows.' I want to grow positivity in my life as well as gratitude. In this journal that you will create by hand for your partner, for 30 days, you will list 5 things from that day that you are grateful for or 5 positive things that happened to/for you during your day. (You can definitely list more if you like;) You may keep your entries on whatever you like as long as you put them all together in a way that makes sense... maybe kind of a 'pocket journal?' Like the pocket letters? (It is up to you, the creator.) No recent 1's or 3's and newbies with more than 20 swaps in something other than a Type 1. Thank you so much! Hugs! (BTW: Make this interesting for your partner with some little things along the way... a drawing or doodle you did during the day... a piece of origami you happened to fold... a cute image you saw and decided to keep for them... a sticker stuck somewhere... you get the idea... Not required everyday... but make it nice:)

Very interesting swap. Never seen anything like this. I'm trying to imagine how this Journal would look like.. Can you give me an example? Too bad that USA only..

I love doing this every day for myself! I read The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin and it changed my life! Have fun, ladies!!! :)

Wouldn't many things end up being repetitive? I don't think I could come up with 5 unique things every day for a whole month. Is that ok?

TC 04/12/2015 #

You say "no newbies;" please define newbie? By this experienced swapper's definition, you're still a newbie yourself. :)

AlyxBee 04/13/2015 #

Just to clarify: It doesn't have to be in a traditional journal form, correct? Each sender gets to choose how everything gets put together?

Margo 04/13/2015 #

@TC Yep. I've gotten that comment a lot. I've already been told to reform my definition to a number and type of swaps required. I just hadn't thought it through. Thank you for the comment:)

It doesn't have to be in traditional journal form. I'm building one now for another swap that will have pockets in something akin to a file folder but decorated... Like a pocket letter:)

Examples of positive or things I'm grateful for today: 1. I got to take a really nice nap:) 2. My mail box was full of all sorts of amazing today (including my Ipsy bag!!!) 3. I feel inspired today! 4. A money issue I was having worked itself out! 5. My Blippo order arrived sooner than I thought it would! I hope that helps ;)

Really Great Idea - I agree - it is my format in our group swap!

Margo 04/15/2015 #

I wanted to apologize for not being polite and asking @Robinarie if I could run a duplicate swap outside the group. I wasn't aware of the process or offense that could be, and I apologize. I meant no harm and I love your swaps;) I hope all is well and you are in good spirits;)

All is well and in good spirits ~ happy swapping!

Margo 04/17/2015 #
