Description:

This is an easy swap for everyone looking to grow their washi/deco tape collections.

You will have 1 partner located in the US to send 10 washi tape or deco tape samples to. Each sample should be at least 12 inches long and the samples should be wrapped around a playing card, plastic card, etc. I did a test run and you should be able to mail for two stamps or less.

This swap is sender's choice, but it wouldn't hurt to take a look at your partner's profile to see their likes/dislikes.

Swap Requirements:

Must have a rating of at least 4.9

No recent or unexplained 1s or 3s

I am making this newbie friendly with a well filled out profile (I will be checking each one before partners are assigned).

I WILL angel for this swap if necessary (but hopefully I won't have to).

Please ask any additional questions below.

I'd like to join but this seems like a costly swap. That washi tape can cost up to $ 3-4 or more per/pkg. at craft stores & even at Target & Walmart. The Dollar Tree doesn't always have them & does not have much to choose from either. And then you have to mail them. Why so many at once? Is everyone swapping here rich? I'm not.

A sampler of 4-5 would suit me better-cost wise.

khstarr10....you can get washi tape on aliexpress.com and almost less than a dollar per roll. Check it out :)

@khstarr10 I regularly mail this much for 1 stamp inside a greeting card. If you wrap around two playing cards & tape those playing cards side by side in the greeting card, it is nice & flat. You see that it is for samples.....not full rolls, right?

I have really been enjoying swapping washi samples and a lot of people were including more than five in just regular fill an envelope swap. I have lots of rolls lying around that I've collected from here or there, especially from craft store clearance bins, and thought it would be a fun way to grow collections and get a big range of tapes.

Remember that these are just 12 in samples and not full rolls. The $3-4 rolls usually have 10 meters which is over 30 feet.

When I tested the shipping sometimes it came up as one stamp and another was just over. I can't imagine that if whatever you wrap the samples around were flat that it would be more then 2 stamps.

All that being said, I'd be happy to host a 5 washi sample swap if there's interest =)

Dollar tree/Wal-Marte tapes are fine for this swap. Any wash/deco tapes =)
