Destash Pocket Letter - International

If you love pocket letters and have found yourself with way too much "stuff", this is the swap for you!

The challenge: use your stash - and only your stash - to make this pocket letter.

No buying more stuff! Use your paper, pens, paints, stamps, stickers, random stuff you got for "some day". Don't even THINK about buying anything for this pocket letter. You've got it covered! Trust me :)

Since this is a pocket letter, you will be including a letter telling your partner about the goodies you've used. Maybe you finally dug into that huge stack of papers you've collected (okay, hoarding like there could be an emergency paper shortage at any moment), or included a special little treasure you found and held onto.

The details:

1) Use a store-bought 9 pocket binder page (the kind used to protect trading cards - see image for reference).

2) Decorate each pocket. No pockets should be without a decoration of some kind. Basically, colorful paper as a background, and then decorate them in any way you see fit or matches your crafting ability.

Try to stuff the pockets with items from your stash. No, you don't have to make them bulge, but the challenge here is to share your stash .. we are destashing after all!

3) Package up and send to your wonderful partner.

Things important enough to mention:

• A letter is required. It doesn't have to be lengthy, but it should cover a couple of items you included in the pocket letter, if only to say how long you've waited to use that particular item etc. Don't forget to include your SB name and swap info.

• Ideas for things to put in the pockets could include tags, ephemera, stickers, tea, ATCs, sequins, washi tape, twine, buttons, ribbon, love. Each pocket doesn't have to have a gift inside - but it should be decorated nicely with items from your stash if there is no gift.

• If you are a picky person, this is not the swap for you. Keep in mind this is sender's choice and a destash swap. Be prepared to happily accept and enjoy your pocket letter, regardless of it being your taste.

You can start any time, since this is sender's choice, then wait for partners to be assigned. So get destashing!

Newbies are allowed with a well filled out profile. I'm not setting a minimum rating, but I will be carefully checking each profile and banning where I see fit. Reasons I may ban might include recent/unresolved 3's or 1's, late swaps, not having logged in for some time, etc. I want this to be a safe and fun swap for everyone.

I will angel if necessary, but I hope I won't have to. Flaking is no fun for anyone, so don't sign up if you are not going to be able to follow through.
