Description:

Special thanks to piratecaptainmo for suggesting this type of swap in our group forum

This swap is for a "smash kit," or art journaling kit, designed by you especially for your partner. Using your partner's profile as inspiration, you will put together a "kit," or group of items that your partner can use in her/his smashbook/art journal. These can all be coordinated around one of your partner's favorite themes/color schemes, or you can include a wide variety of items from your partner's favorite subjects, etc. that would be nice to use in a journal.

All group members must maintain well-filled-out profiles and meet the requirement of at least a 4.98 rating to join. In the unlikely event that it's necessary, I will angel this swap after you have attempted to contact your partner and honestly rated a "1" for a no-send.

Here are the rules:

As with all of our swaps:

♥ Read through your partner's complete profile, so you don't miss out on something important (loves circus themes but is creeped out by clowns?--best to save Bozo and Blinko for someone who will appreciate them), or an exciting idea that you'll enjoy even more than the first thing you might have seen. Always try to send your swap partners things related to their interests that will make them smile :)

♥Be certain to check for your partner's dislikes and avoid sending them, so you don't unintentionally spoil what would otherwise be an absolute delight

You will send your partner a smash kit/ art journaling kit including at least 5 of the following types of items (for variety!). This is a type-3 swap because of its time-intensive creative nature, and because you're likely (though not strictly required) to include a few non-flat items which make it a package. Please take care to put together something of a quality you would like to receive.

Some ideas for smash/art journaling items (please feel free to add more suggestions in the comments below for extras and future swaps--thanks!)

Any of the following in your partner's favorite colors or themes:
Journal cards or Project Life cards
colorful pens
decorative paper clips
backgrounds
favorite quotes
tiny list /note pages
paper flags or post-its
page tabs/dividers
washi tape or deco tape samples
high-quality stickers
ribbon or trim that will work with paper
decorative borders
die cuts
punched shapes
paper flowers
pressed leaves or flowers
"bling"
charms
decorative papers
small envelopes or pockets with/without cards
stamped images
high-quality images, words, or quotes
ephemera

In order to receive a 5, your kit should meet the criteria of being related to your partner's profile interests and be thoughtfully put together, including at least 5 of the item types listed above (not including doubling up--a journal card with your partner's favorite quote and a lovely image is fantastic, but only counts in one of the categories). Remember to mention this group name, swap name, and your user name.

Please rate anyone a 5 as long as they meet these criteria. Hearts are of course at your own discretion.

There will be plenty of time to put together your kit once partners have been assigned; however, please do not sign up if you can't get your envelope ready to send out by the send date.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Have fun swapping! ♥
