Hoo Likes Owls? (USA Only)

Owls have enchanted me since I was a little girl (you know, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth).

Well, they say everything old is new again, and owls are back, baby! It's as if owls are the new black, or maybe the new cat?

Do you like owls, too? I mean, really, hoo doesn't? (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) If so, this swap is for YOU!

What will you do?

For this swap, you will send your partner at least three (more if you're so inclined) owl items. The stipulation: one item is to be handmade by you. Ideas include (but aren't limited to) flat stuffies, bookmarks, owl-themed pocket letter, coaster, ornament... use your imagination! However, no ATCs.

The other two items are Sender's Choice (again, no ATCs and no Dollar Store/99 cent store, etc. items). If it's an item purchased from a thrift store or an antique store or a yard sale, please be sure the item is in very good condition.

Ratings and you

I haven't hosted a higher value swap in a while, so I'm going to be very picky when reviewing profiles. Recent 1s are a definite no. Swappers with 3s will be carefully reviewed. Look, I realize life happens and sometimes a swap is sent late, and some people are just bound and determined to ding you for that, no matter if you sent them a gold brick, a bushel of washi tape and an angel to go along with it.

However, if you have received a 3 in the last 12 months, please message me first to let me know what went on with the swap, and how it was fixed. If you have 3s and I don't receive a message, prepare to be instantly dropped.

Profile must also reflect a solid history of Type 3 swaps.

No newbies. If there is a high demand, I may host a newbies only swap. But... only if there is a high demand.

Rating your partner

If you receive one handmade item and two other items, it's a five, whether your like your items or not.

I realize that with used items, condition can be a bit subjective. If there's any question, take a picture and we can figure it out together. Best advice, though: if you wouldn't give it to Jesus, Buddha, Demeter, or President Obama, then don't give it to your partner!

One last thing

Not sure why, but lately I've had a rash of people in my swaps who seem to refuse to mark themselves as sent. If you're one of these people, look away. You are not welcome here.
