“15 Minute” ATC - USA

How do you not "don't think too hard on this ATC just do it" if you are suppose to put thought into your design? Especially in 15 minutes. I don't know anyone that can produce quality work that fast. Do you have any examples of your own personal work that you took 15 minutes on?

I joined one of @BevT 's 15 minute ATC swaps in 2013 and it was a bit of a challenge, but my partner loved the ATC. Here is a pic .

I say spend time picking what you want then 15 min. Putting it all togethEr. Wouldnt that still count?

@Onaki - Good point! First let me say, this is a challenge swap. It challenges you mentally to think quick and produce a nice design within the given time.

You can think about what type of a design you want before you sit down to create your card.

Yes, I can produce quality work in 15 minutes … I know my skills…. Before I start to work on a project I gather all of my supplies. With this swap, I’ll grab several background papers, a few images, several different mediums and a few embellishments. Set it aside and when I am ready, I start my timer and create my design.

This is my personal work and it took a little less than 15 min.... I gathered my supplies last night. This morning I played with the papers, did some layering, used a little paint/ink and (2) embellishments and this is what I came up with... I had fun, I love challenging myself.

In this swap we are mostly using scrap papers and digital images. I could not artistically draw anything in 15 min.

Those are really great ATC's .. How did you put your pictures up? I can't figure it out. :(

I think this is a neat challenge. And if its collage where we are gluing an image on a background and adding some embellishments, that sounds pretty quick and simple to do :)
