Description:

It's time for a new get aquainted, make a friend, group swap -- it's fall and summer is behind us, (or almost). Very simply, you will write a note, something a little longer than you could put on a post card and send to two partners. Introduce yourself a little bit and maybe write about something you did this past summer and/or something you look forward to in the fall.

It's international and I know some people shy away from the expense, but I think talking to someone in another country is worth a little over a dollar (if you're sending from US). I'm happy Swap-bot is an international group and there are several people in this group in other countries that I love to hear from and who, I hope, are glad to get a letter from the US.

SO: A note card (could be a short letter) to two different partners. That simple. I hope that of the well over 100 people in this group, we can have, let's say, at least 20 in this swap. Is that possible?

Can we make them on the computer, will join but if not will drop out, I like making them & HATE my handwriting.

@Purplebutterfly ... I usually print mine too. I have pincer grip issues and it's hard to hand write more than a line or my signature. But I can type like crazy because it doesn't involve pinch grip.

I'll sign up but I'd like to type mine as well. My hand can't keep up with my head when I'm writing by hand! ;-)

By all means type when a note if you like. I didn't think of saying that because I always type and I don't join swaps that insist on handwiting -- if you have lovely handwriting and enjoy it -- fine. I'm a chicken scratch writer myself.
