Description:

Hi everyone. I’m starting a running series of swaps centered around Bizarre Holidays. Now some of them aren’t truly “bizarre” but they aren’t your usual recognized holidays either. I intend to post a few each month as long as there is enough interest.

For each swap I will give a brief background of the holiday that I’ve chosen in case anyone is curious about it. I will also describe what the profile decorations should consist of.

Each person will have three (3) partners to post decorations to for each swap. None of the decorations should be repeated so you will need to find a minimum of nine different decorations for the swap. The whole decoration should show within the Comments section so make sure they are no wider than 300 pixels. Please post the name of the swap at the top of each of your partner’s profile decorations.

Once you have posted ALL of your decorations then click Sent. Please remember to rate the swappers who post to your profile.

If you have any questions please feel free to message me. I will angel this swap for anyone who is flaked on once the 1 rating has been given.

The Bizarre Holiday for this swap is:

I Love Lucy Day

Celebrated on October 15th, National I Love Lucy Day celebrates one of television’s all time greatest shows. “I Love Lucy”, an American sitcom starring Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance and William Frawley made it’s debut on October 15, 1951. In four of its six seasons, I Love Lucy was the most watched show in the United States and was the first to end its run at the top of the Nielsen ratings. It was also the first scripted television program to be shot live on 35 mm film in front of a studio audience.

For this swap you will decorate your partners profile with images of or related to the TV show I Love Lucy.
