PNS: Autumn PC

Let's play with making our own PC background. We'll start with something simple: stencilling.

You will need:

• Card stock or similar paper about 4" x 6" (10 x 15 cm)
• 2 different stencils (these do not have to be purchased and they do not have to be autumn themed - you can use things like bubble wrap or scrunched up plastic wrap or the leftover paper from making punchies or a circle template or leaves or make your own - use your imagination - there is no need to buy stencils just to try this technique)
• Ink or paint or rubber stamp pads or glimmer mist (or whatever you like to make the background image in autumn colours with your stencils)

Make a stencilled background on your paper IN AUTUMN COLOURS USING AT LEAST 2 DIFFERENT STENCILS.

When dry, add a quote ABOUT AUTUMN to the front of your PC (e.g., hand letter it or use a stamp or produce it digitally or use a rub-on - whatever works for you).

Securely adhere your art onto a sturdy backing for its travels through the postal system. Protection for the front of it is up to your judgment.

Write a note to your partner about AUTUMN and send it off naked and stamped.
