Thread Embellished ATC

This is an ATC swap, meaning the size of your finished product should measure 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. It can unfold to something larger, but the basic size should be standard. Don’t forget to label it on the back, too!

We will have two partners and need to create one ATC for each…. That’s a total of 2 ATCs made for this swap.

The only required element for your ATC is thread. Somewhere in the creation of your ATC, you must use thread. One color or many colors… your choice. Embroidery floss is also acceptable. Stitch pages together, embroider a pretty design, decorate a border, create corner tassels, use it to attach dangling embellishments, use a sewing machine or hand-stitch -- whatever you (as the artist) feel most inclined to do. Be creative! (Tip: it can be helpful to create the holes ahead of time with a pin before you stitch if you’re planning on hand-stitching.)

It would be very nice if you utilized other elements beyond thread, but it’s not necessarily a requirement for the swap. Keep in mind, however… the more effort you put into the ATC, the greater your partner will appreciate it. The more your partner appreciates it, the better chance you have of getting a heart!

This is an international swap! Newbies are welcomed (… because we all have to start somewhere, right?) but please do not flake on this swap. Nobody appreciates a flaker. Only join if you’re sure you will send the ATCs. People with recent, unexplained low ratings will be banned. Message me if you are concerned about your rating but still want to join.
