Cards for Owen!

In this swap you will send a cheery, hello, encouraging card to Owen. From parents: Owen was born a healthy 10lb 15 oz baby and has always been such an active child. He loved being outside with his friends and doing all the things a typical boy would do. Loved taking things apart to see how they work, climbing trees and racing around on his bike. In June this year we noticed his eye seemed to look lazy and his speech and swallowing seemed affected. I took him to the hospital where after tests we were told the devastating news.....your son has brain stem cancer force which there is no cure. He has had 13 treatments of radiotherapy which has helped with the swallowing and speech for the time being but there is nothing further they can do for him. It will be palliative care from here on in so we are just making the most of the good times while we have them before the deterioration starts again. I would love him to receive some mail to keep the gorgeous smile on his face and make him feel special as to me he is the most special and bravest boy. He doesn't know the full extent of his illness as I want him to feel safe and loved and keep that smile going :)
