My City is Famous For...

Let’s start the new year celebrating the great things that are happening in our various locales and make a postcard or notecard.

Using your fab digital media skills, create a post card or note card that celebrates something of which your city or town is most proud. San Francisco has its bridge. New York has Broadway. Nashville has its funky country sounds. You get the idea. If your city/town doesn't boast a national monument, you get to be creative and do some research. Is there a famous greasy spoon? How about an odd museum?

You will send the PC/notecard blank so your partner can use it to impress someone else about your nifty city.

Home printers are acceptable, as long as the quality is, well, quality. If you’re making a postcard, make sure the base is sturdy. If you choose to make a notecard, be sure to include an envelope. [Of course, printing through companies like Zazzle, Moo, or VistaPrint is perfect for this swap.]

Once your masterpiece is completed, please be sure to include a note telling your partner a bit about your city.

Don’t wait for partners to be assigned; rate your partner promptly when you receive your PC or notecard.
