Learn Something New Letter - USA

This will be a letter to one partner. USA only, no newbies please.

For those of you who crave random knowledge about...well, just about anything intelligent! Share your wisdom and receive some in return!

About the Swap: If you have one unique subject or one specialty that you know a good deal about (that other people probably don't), then join this swap! This could be about art, religion, science, hunting, rugby, tree-chopping, you name it. It may be a hobby you picked up, something you learned from travelling, or just something you read about. For example, I know someone who knows all about costume design and production.

What to Do: Pick a subject, topic or concept that you find interesting. Write at least enough for your partner to understand the concept and learn something new. If you can't write more than a few sentences, then you need to choose something else. Feel free to draw pictures that relate to the topic and aid understanding.

An example of a topic: I know a lot about Florida plants since that is where I grew up. But if my partner was from Florida, then I would have to choose a different topic (I'm not actually going to use this topic; it is just for example). So check your partner's profile to prevent sending info they already know. That said, already knowing about a subject is not a good reason to rate your partner poorly. Rate based on their effort and thoroughness. On the bright side, this is easier to do if you know the subject!

Rules: This is an informational letter, which means that it should be objective. For example, if you are writing about a religion, you may not talk about yourself or your own beliefs. However, you may write a separate opinion section at the end of your letter ONLY if your partner posts specifies below that they are okay with receiving opinions (or you can message them and ask). Please do not write about anything inappropriate or offensive. Please hand write unless unable to do so (please note this in your letter if it be the case).
