Character Names – Surnames (U - Z)

Now that we have gone through the alphabet and swapped character names, let’s swap some surnames! Typically inherited in this day and age, surnames are also called last names, bynames, or family names.

For this swap, send two partners a list of surnames, three for each letter, for a total of eighteen names. Please type or legibly handwrite your list for your partner. Your list needs to contain the following information:

• Name
• Pronounciation (if you know it)
• Etymology
• Where you found the name
• Feel free to include any other information you think your partner might like about the name – famous people, what it means, etc.

In Summary:

Send two partners 18 surnames/last names, 3 for each letter, typed or legibly handwritten.

You do not have to have participated in the previous swaps to be a part of this swap.
