Description:

This swap is for sharing our swapping habits with each other. The number of swap partners depends on the number of participants, you send to all.

Take one or more photos of each of the following things and places related to your swapping:

  1. Your desk or where ever you put your swaps together. Show and describe some of your tools, stash, organising systems or whatever is relevant to your swapping habits.

  2. Your post box where you receive your swaps, whether it is an actual box or a letter slot on the door.

  3. The post office and/or post boxes where you usually send swaps and where you pick up swaps that are not delivered to your home. Try to include some surroundings too. Write how far are they from your home and how do you go there.

  4. Some shops where you like to get your swap items or materials. Pictures from outside the shops is good, as the staff would not probably like people taking pictures in the shops. Write what do you usually buy in them, maybe share a shop website.

You do not need to be a highly skilled photographer or use professional equipment, smartphone photos are good enough!

Rename your photos so that the recipient can easily tell which photo is which, and write a few sentences about them in your email message. If you like, you can compile your photos and their written descriptions for example in a word-processing or spreadsheet program and save it as a PDF file, which you then send as an attachment. Just make sure you use file formats that work on any operating system or without any specific programs. Making a blog post etc. and sharing a link is also possible.

If you do not know how to attach files to emails or do not understand anything about the previous paragraph, it is better that you do not join this swap ;) We can do a printed photo with a letter version when I get my printer working again...
