Description:

These are the cutest, sweetest little dresses! Get your papers and crafting goodies, and let's go!

Warning:

  • they are addictive
  • they are actually easier than they look :)

You will start with a 6X6 piece of paper for this project. Can be your fave scrapbook paper, old map page, vintage paper of some kind. You can even jazz up your paper at this point with inks, stains, paints, rubber stamping, etc. or create your own background paper. Your choice! You will want to make sure it's not too thick, as you will be folding and creasing it. The weight/thickness of single sided scrapbook paper works best.

Below are a couple tutorials found on youtube to guide you along:

Now you have your dress made!

Feel free to embellish it and decorate it any way you wish. It does not need to be over-the-top decorated, but please add a couple decorative touches to give it your touch.

Some ideas could include ribbon tie at the waist, a small button or two, rubber stamping, inks, words, die cuts, etc.

Package securely and send off to your partner.

If there is enough interest, I would love to do a series of these and end up with a little collection to display in my studio on a "clothesline" across my windows.

You could also use in an altered book, smashbook or journal, or as a sweet addition on top a handmade card.

If you have any questions, please message me or post below.

Happy dress making!
