Are you going to check the ratings of some of the participants? I REALLY want to join but 1 has a pretty low rating 😢

@Cauti92 yes I have checked all of the participants with questionable ratings. They have been active for this year and have not been rated poorly for 2016.

Anyone that is interested in angel-ing leave a comment for users to message in the chance that someone gets flaked on. Also message me and be sure to message your swap partner if you don't receive your swap!

What about the ones that have flaked previously to active members here, and not bothered to make up those swaps? Do you think someone is okay, just because their bad ratings aren't this year?

@sassafrass I see one swapper who you are mentioning, the only swapper who has several poor ratings in this swap. They are also participating in my other swaps, hosted here on swap-bot. I have to say, after my experience of two poorly rated swaps, I know that even though a swapper is active they can be a poor judge/vilify someone who is willing to make up a swap. I have one poor rating, a 3 from a swap that was sent late, and after sending the swap 3 times, the particular user I am speaking about BLOCKED me and refused no matter what to re-rate me! This is supposed to be fun! For the sender and the receiver! I have been flaked on several times, and I have messaged my partner and given leniency to them for late sent swaps; that is more than many people are willing to do on this site!

Treat others as you would unto yourself, and even though there are a lot of excuses made out there, realize where you would be yourself if slack was not made for you at one time or another. This is one reason why I decided to host so many swaps! As long as you have been swapping nicely and been rated nicely for the last 6 months I am happy to swap with you, as I know some people will not be lenient in their rating, no matter what.

I hope everyone still wants to participate in the swaps I host, as I find it fun to do! If not, there are PLENTY of swappers on swap-bot that exclude me and my way of thinking that will include you, as long as no one EVER disagrees with you. If any swapper finds themselves in the situation of a disagreeable swapper, remember my swaps and how I treat people as a hostess, if you have been a good little swapper for 6 months, or have even been unrated yet as a newbie and respond to my messages I will include you in my swaps. I really sincerely wish everyone happy swapping for the sender and receiver! If you are not happy with the swaps I host please message me and your partner to try to rectify the situation!

Also, I like to angel, and I ask that anyone who is willing to angel my swaps please leave a comment for swappers to see and message you in the event of a 'flaker'. In this way we can all still have fun, as most of the people that have participated in my swaps who were flakers, were banned and no longer participated within two weeks of any swap I hosted. Anyone who has been a late swapper, usually messages me to let me know, even though as a hostess I can do nothing but try to message and persuade your partner to understand why someone was late. Most people on this site are not malicious, they're just overwhelmed or forgetful. I don't like to hold forgetfulness or stress over someones head, as long as they are willing to rectify the situation and resend the swap. I don't expect someone to jump through hoops though!

Anyway I'm finished ranting, I hope I've made my point and I'm not trying to put anyone down by saying the things above. I'm just trying to show everyone my reasoning for the way I host my swaps.

Hey a family emergency happened and I can't send the envelope yet I'm so sorry I was have way done with making it and everything turned upside down I promise I will not flake I just might be late in so sorry

i havent gotten mine yet

I just received mine today! Be patient, as I'm sure July 4th Holiday may slow up the post a bit.
