Overview

--Create one large piece of art.
--Split that piece of art down the middle.
--Send one piece to each of your partners.

Details

• The artwork you create can be done in any medium or any combination of mediums. Theme, style, colors, etc. are all sender's choice.

• The original artwork can be any size, but remember: this is going to be split into 2 halves that will be sent as postcards, so it will need to be large enough to accomplish that.

• The artwork needs to have some sort of focal image that will be present in both halves of the finished postcards - one image that will be split between the 2 postcards. Examples (click for larger views):

• Collage is an easy way to do this, but you could also draw a scene (portrait, animal, flower, whatever) and then split it in half. It just needs to be obvious that the end products started together as a whole. Abstract designs do not lend themselves well to this.

The 2 halves of the 1 larger artwork will be sent as postcards, naked and stamped. Don't forget to reference the swap title on the back somewhere.
