Think before you send

This is a postcard swap where you have to think about what you're sending ... don't merely pick a card, scribble something on it and send it off. Find out something more about it. SO:

1. Check your partner's profile to see what might interest them
2. Choose one card for him/her
3. Check out what it's about. Why was the photo taken, or what exactly is it depicting if it's a historical one? If there's a monument, what is it commemorating? If it's a painting, what exactly is it, why the skull here or the flower there ... I think you get the feeling.
4. Inform your recipient of the background to the card (it could even just be why you chose it - and don't just say "... because I like it"!!)
