Description:

It doesn't get easier than this...

  • 2 partners
  • 8 different washi tape samples to each
  • Length: at least 18 inches (45.72 cm) for each sample
  • No plain tapes
  • Decorate your mailing envelopes with tape (at least 3 different designs on the front, please)

Below are two "washi tape rules" for this swap:

  1. Please wrap your tapes around a surface from which they can be easily removed from. If you choose to use playing cards, a good quality brand is preferred, like ones made in the USA. If you use discount store cards, please cover them with clear packing tape first. If you don't, the first layer of tape next to the design tends to pull up the design, rendering it useless.

  2. As to the quality of tape - please do not send Dollar store tape for this swap. When you rip these, they have definitive white edge and they feel more like paper when ripped. They also tend to leave creases from the edges of the playing cards. I use a lot of my samples to make cards and don't care for the creases . While they do have some pretty tapes, perhaps we can find something to do with these in another swap.

Sender's choice on tapes so we can start wrapping now. :)
