Hello, Brothers & Sisters in Christ!

This is a Christian Bountiful Blessings Themed swap. I think journaling is a great way to not only grow in your relationship with God but it also gives us the opportunity to get to know ourselves a little deeper. This will be a monthly swap with different themes.

For this swap, you need to send:
(1) Altered Composition Book (standard size)
AND
(1) Swap Tag

DIRECTIONS

Theme: Bountiful Harvest

Take a composition book (specs above) and alter the (1) front cover, (2) back cover, (3) inside front cover, (4) inside back cover. No parts of the original covers should be visible when you have finished decorating.

1. Front Cover: Senders choice of decor
2. Back Cover: Senders choice of decor
3. Inside Front Cover: Senders choice of decor but ADD A prayer or blessing for the recipient. Use their real name, not swap-bot name AND take care to spell it properly.
4. Inside Back Cover: Senders choice of decor AND 3 or more bible verses relating to the theme

INSIDE (On the paper sheets)

Create at least 30 journal writing prompts based on the journal theme. I've listed a few below to get you started. Borrowed from here.

Leave at least one page in between the writing prompt pages.

You may decorate the writing prompt pages, any or all or none if you would like, it is not a requirement.

Please leave enough room for the receiver to write.

Write a thank you note for something for which you feel especially blessed. Use words or phrases as if you are talking to your best friend.
Tell God how much you love him and praise him for who He is. Hold the prayer as a “praise only” prayer.
Write a prayer on behalf of a loved one. Thank God for them and describe your thoughts about this person to God.
Surrender all your thoughts to the Lord by writing out a prayer of giving yourself to him. You may want to list things you hold the most dear and hold them up to him with open hands in full trust.
Write out a prayer for the “least of these” (Matthew 25:40) and ask God to show you your part in ministering to the homeless, disabled, or the elderly. Ask God to specifically show you the special needs you can meet right where you are.
List out your priorities or decisions you must make in the next week. Give them to God and ask him to lead you every step of the way.

For the swap tag, include:
1) Swap name
2) Your name
3) Swap-bot name

This is a keeper journal. Once you send to your partner, your partner keeps it and does not send it back completed.
