Description:

Letterboxes(Mailboxes). Most of us have one.. We look forward to the letters, parcels and postcards that arrive in them, but are they being appreciated?

I love seeing the creative ways that people receive their mail around my area; from pvc pipe catalogue chutes to elegant post boxes, brick fences with just a slit in it to swallow the mail, even a 1 metre tall Ned Kelly! (His helmet takes the letters!)

Postboxes are quite cool too..

For this swap, you will have 3 partners and you will send at least 3 photos of postboxes or letterboxes that you've photographed (more is welcome!) in an envelope to each partner (the same photos is fine, chances are your partners don't know each other!) A letter or a note explaining why you photographed those particular letterboxes should be included.

The letterboxes can be unique, generic, brimming with mail, boarded over, swallowed by garden plants... whatever you like (variety is nice)

I ask that anyone who joins this swap respect thier partners and communicates with myself and the partners if unable to meet the swap requirements by the due date.

Aw! It's a shame someone knocked down the pink parrot mailbox down the road!

Is it okay to print the photo's yourself at home? Would that be a problem?

Home printed photos are fine. As long as it's of a letterbox/postbox it's all good!
