Gender Bending Mix CD Swap

Hello Everyone!

This swap is designed to let us have fun with the plethora of gender bending songs that exist. This can be anything from "Dude Looks Like a Lady" to "I Kissed a Girl."

The sign up date will be Nov 9, which gives you about 11 days to send out your CDs before Transgender Day of Remembrance on Nov 20. For more information about this international event, please check out http://www.transgenderdor.org/

The details:

This swap is international, so everyone is welcome to join

All songs must deal with gender in a non-traditional way and can include: -crossdressing (dude looks like a lady) -gay/lesbian (i kissed a girl) -cover songs by someone of a different gender than the original artist (who may or may not change the pronouns) -songs from artists with non-traditional gender identities (athens boys choir, katastrophe) -anything else you feel is appropriate

It is preferable that the songs on this mix be positive images of gender non-conformity, as the purpose of this swap is to celebrate the diversity of gender identities and expressions that exist in music and in life

All CDs must have at least 15 songs with a track listing, but it is preferable that you fit as many as you can onto the CD

It is not required, but if anyone wants hearts, it would be cool if all CDs included some sort of cover art or an extra with a gender theme (buttons, stickers, etc)

Everyone will have 2 partners, so you will make a total of 2 CDs for this swap (one for each partner) and you will all receive 2 CDs in return

I'm not putting a rating requirement on this or making anyone contact me first, but I reserve the right to ban anyone with a sketchy swapping history. Newbies more than welcome. Just be responsible and send your stuff!
