TCHH~ Grace & Gratitude

I was inspired to create this swap after reading this: Grace, Gratitude, and the Glory of God

For this swap, we will be making Grace & Gratitude boxes. The purpose of this box is to have us focus on the Grace that Jesus provides and express the gratitude we feel.

For this swap, we will decorate/alter ANY size RECYCLED box ~ Senders Choice of box and art medium. This could be an old macaroni & cheese box, oatmeal box, anything!

Next, cut out 30 small pieces of pretty paper. Leave them BLANK, they will be written on by your partner. Put them inside the box.

Make a nice verse card focusing on grace or gratitude. Put it in the box.

Make a nice prayer card focusing on a special prayer written out for your partner, from your heart. Put it in the box.

On a piece of paper, list 15 items for which you are grateful. Put it in the box.

OPTIONAL (not required): On a piece of paper, list 15 items in which you have received God's Grace. Put it in the box.

This is a KEEPER box. When the RECIEVER gets this box, they will begin to fill it with their own writings of times when they know God gave his Grace, when they want to express gratitude, etc.

To summarize, you will send:
1 Handmade Grace & Gratitude box
2 30 small pieces of pretty paper (2" x 2" ish)
3 Handmade verse card
4 Handmade prayer card
5 Your gratitude list
6 Your grace list (OPTIONAL)
7 Note or tag with the A) Swap Name B) Your Name C) Swap-bot Name

All members of the group are invited and encouraged to participate.

I want to stress that craft is not about the "artistic" outcome but about the entire spiritual process. Please spend time praying for your partner while crafting this for them.

I will open a forum post for us to upload our creations for those who chose to share near the send date deadline.

Because of the time intensity of this swap, tracking info is required to be sent to your partner once shipped.

This should be a fun swap to send and receive. Try to package the item nicely, like in tissue paper, wrapping paper etc.

Also, it's important to not make your partner wait to be rated. It's really not very thoughtful of your partner's feelings or respectful of the time they put into sending you something nice.

I will angel if necessary but only after you rate your partner a '1' as appropriate.
