Artsy Decorated Journal

I thought this might be a nice and fun idea to create some unusual and beautiful journals. Here goes:

You will buy (or handmake if you want to - but it must be nice and a real journal, not just some papers glued together or something like that) a journal, any type you want to use, average journal size (about A5 - more or less). You will decorate the outside basing on your swap partner's chosen artist (the artist's artwork). To explain: Your partner chooses Leonardo Da Vinci as her / his favourite artist for this swap. So you search for Da Vinci's art and choose something you like, something that inspires you and decorate your journal with a picture of that and other things (papers, fabric, etc. whatever you like!).

If you join this swap, please post your favourite artist on here and I will add them to a list in this swap text so we'll be up to date with the information.

Other rules:

• a rating of at least 4.5

• at least 8 sent out swaps

• if you DO have 1 or 3 ratings but can explain them - please contact me. We can always talk and I know things can happen...

• you have ONE swap partner

• yes, you can also choose 2 favourite artists for your swap partner to choose from, or more

• INTERNATIONAL

PLEASE choose an artist(s) who's at least somewhat known. Give your partner the chance to actually FIND some artwork online! They have to be at least able to print out a picture or more by whoever you choose. If you really want to choose someone not that famous and difficult to find you may always provide your swap partner with a scan of a picture or two that you'd like to be used for the journal, just keep this as little complicated as possible. :)

Please, be aware that depending on the chosen artist, nudity may be involved in this swap. If you have a problem with that - please, don't join. Even though you may choose an artist who doesn't paint or sculpt or whatever anyone nude, your swap-partner's preferance may be with an artist who does. Thank you.
