2017 Junk Journal

Hello dear swappers :0) It is nearing the end of 2016 and with the new year speeding towards us, i thought it might be nice to create a journal for the new year. Junk journals are my favorite thing to create and I am hoping others might find the time to create one also in this potentially busy Christmas season. let us create!!

generally made out of old books junk journals are sweet little books using "junk" or paper and scraps that are hanging around.

this swap is themed is 2017, so this journal can be decorated in many different ways. I do suggest peeking at your partners likes and dislikes and perhaps some inspirational quotes encouragements and happy thoughts. This does NOT have to have three hundred plus pages to make it through the whole year, just a beginning journal for the year. :0)

Nothing smaller than 4 by 6 cover feel free to make it larger.

Each signature should contain a minimum of five pages, making the signature ten pages in the book. A signature is a grouping of papers gathered together and folded in half to make one section in a book. These pages can have pockets, be decorated with embellishments or pictures, can be left blank for journal spaces. The embellishments can be sewn or stapled or glued on. here are a couple tutorials on youtube for ideas :0)
