A "leave my body in peace!" complaint letter

This swap is for those of us that need to complain a bit about the way this time of year makes us feel about our bodies. Complain away! We are here to listen and support one another.

Are you dreading the body-auditing and the (micro-)aggressions against our fragile body self-esteem of the coming season? For example, do you get upset that you can't get winter clothing that fits, or does seeing all the advertisements telling you to get "in shape" in the new year drive you into a fury? Does your family criticise your beard or your son's long hair, and you wish there could be just ONE family event in which your tattoos, your acne, your eating habits or your chemotherapy is off-topic?

Let it all out! Have a good, long whinge about it to someone who won't judge you. Sometimes just complaining is satisfying. Write or type a letter or note, slap a stamp on it and send it to your partner.

There is one rule: complaining about your body is not allowed. We are a body acceptance group. We are aiming to accept our bodies as they are: WE are okay, it's the WORLD that's unaccommodating!
