AACG: Polished Metal Look

Cut or punch out 4 to 6 of the same die cuts. I cut out keys with my Cricut. Glue them all together with one on top of the other. Let that sit to get really dry. Pat clear embossing ink (I used Versa Mark) on top of your glued pieces & sprinkle embossing powder over the ink. Heat with your heat tool. Do this step 2 or 3 times. I went with 3 times because you want depth. My directions say to allow the piece to cool just enough so you can touch it without getting burnt. Now rub the piece with Perfect Pearls while it is still warm. I had much better luck with Pearl Ex. I just brushed it on right away with a paint brush. The key on the left is with Perfect Pearls & the 2 on the right is with Pearl Ex. I did 2 with black cardstock & one with light blue cardstock & you can not tell the difference. Now use this as an embellishment on a ATC. The theme is up to you. Be sure to add a sturdy backing. I ended up spraying it with hair spray because the paint was coming off on my fingers.
