Feminism 101: My Story

While writing my postcards for "Thank Goodness I'm a Feminist," I wished I had more space to share a little bit more about my own feminism. So...I was inspired.

You will each send one letter to a partner. In this letter, you will describe your own definition and interpretation of feminism. Talk about how you first came to discover feminism, when you first considered yourself a feminist, and anything else that strikes you as you write.

Write or type your letter. If you write, make sure it's legible.

Remember that while we all consider ourselves feminists, we might not all think of feminism in exactly the same way and we surely did not all come to find feminism in our lives in the same way. Sharing our stories will help build community, or, at least provide a place for personal reflection that is then shared with another!
