This is my first swap hosting so please bear with me! :)

5.0 Rating. No newbies - sorry!

You will be creating a inspirational journal for your partner. It can be of things you like but try to be considerate and add some of your partners likes. (Please check their likes and dislikes)

You will purchase a 9 3/4 x 7 1/2 inch ( 24.7x19.0cm) composition book.

With this journal you will decorate the cover and every page (yes you can glue two pages together to make it sturdier) inside with some of the following items: Text types: journaling, notes, poetry, lists, book lines, etc. Pictures: from magazines, printed, colored or not colored, etc. Other items: washi tape, teas, post cards, letters, little surprises, flyers from where you live, etc.

Make it nice and neat, not sloppy. Make it something that you would want to receive in return. When rating it if looks like someone put time and effort into the journal give them a high marking.

One partner per person. I will not be able to angel - Sorry!

If I missed anything or have any questions please ask!

Love the thought, I'm a huge fan of stuffed journals.

Filling an entire comp book in one month, with quality work is a little ambitious.

Will watch this for a while : )

I have now extended the length of time to work on this swap! Hope this helps people consider joining!!

I would love to do this swap. But I have to say I'm a bit leery of joining . The last one of this type of swap I joined I was flaked on. Only 3 people joined the swap and I was the only one that sent mine out. My partner as well as the host both flaked on the swap. So I'm going to have to think about it.

By the way it took me 3 months to totally fill a comp book. With doing every page front and back that makes for decorating 200 pages.

How many pages are we allowed to glue together? Can we do every 2 pages? That will cut it down to only 100 pages to do.

Does it have to be all inspirational? Does it have to contain actual journal written pages? I'm not one for writing in a journal. I like expressing myself through art pages

@LunaMoody You can glue every two pages together! I was just using those things as examples. I made one last year and it mostly has pictures and collage with a few news articles thrown in the mix. The one i received back had mostly journaling with a mixture of collage. I think whatever medium fits you is what you should work in!

Composition books are only 100 pages so if you glue two together that gives you only 50 pages to decorate.

Hull33 Composition books are a 100 pages but when you are doing them front and back that makes it 200 pages. So if you glue every 2 pages together that makes it 100 pages front and back.
