A.Q. March Spool Block

Spool block quilts have always drawn my attention and I have come across a tutorial that uses scraps, so hurrah!

I would like to host a 5 month swap, this is the third month.

Quilters would make 2 spool blocks of any color.The thread of the spool can be made from your skinny fabric strips, one piece of fabric or from selvedge edges. For the background I thought we could stick to a cream or white so when the blocks are sewn together it creates a soft scrappy background. The spool is up to you.

I hope there are other quilters who like spool quilts.
