Yes, you read that correctly! This is a mega sticker destash, totaling 1000 stickers!

This is for those of us who have amassed a HUGE overhaul of stickers over the years of swapping, crafting, and the like. Those of us who have multiple shoe boxes or storage containers full of 'extra stickers' we're just waiting to swap out. Stickers that are coming in faster than we can send them out! Stickers we'll never use in our projects, but who in their right mind would just throw stickers away?! To all my fellow crazy sticker hoarders....This is OUR TIME! OUR SWAP!

Lets send ONE THOUSAND .... 1000 .... stickers to our 1 partner.

These may be:

full sheets,

or individual stickers cut NICELY from sheets,

or sticker flakes.

Teeny Tiny stickers (smaller than a dime) are okay, HOWEVER 3 of these will count as 1 sticker for this swap. Or feel free to send them as extras! After-all, if we're going to de-stash, let's really de-stash!

Please NO

NO reward, holiday, religious stickers

NO advertisement stickers! (you know the ones, they come free in the newspaper, or decal stickers from your local tire shop, etc.)

NO chipboard, or puffy stickers

NO trash stickers. Meaning: stained, stinky (cigarette smell, etc), crumpled, used and restuck ( yes that happens -.- ). Send things of a quality you would expect yourself!

NO alphabet stickers, quotes are fine, though because not all sticker collectors use alphabet stickers, I'd like to keep this letter free.

Due to the size of this swap I will be very meticulous in regards to participant requirements. You MUST:

Have completed 10 type 3 swaps with 5 ratings

Have no unexplained 1s or 3s at time of signup

No Newbies at this time due to the size and expense of this swap. Seasoned swappers only

With such a large destash, it is understandable this should be senders choice in regards to type and style of stickers. HOWEVER please keep your partners dislikes in mind. And of course, if you are able, it would be lovely to send stickers that you feel your partner would enjoy!

Please understand that this will be a fairly quick swap, since it requires no purchase, and is basically just an emptying of your current sticker stash. You will have one week to sign up, and until the following Monday to send your swap.

This is a USA only swap at this time, do to the immense size and amount of stickers. Of course if anyone would like to host an international version, feel free to do so!

All images are copyright their respective owners,
I do not own, nor do I claim to own any of these images.
All were found using Google Image Search.

P.S. Stickers can be heavy! This may be a good opportunity to put to use those flat rate boxes from the post office!

I am interested but also hesitant. First and foremost, if I am flaked on, is there an angel? This is A LOT to send out to get nothing in return if flaking should occur.

Also, the last day to sign up is April 6th, which means partners will be assigned on the 7th, and then we have to mail out by the 10th. 1,000 stickers is a large number to go through, especially if we want to look at our partner's profile to make it extra special. Maybe that is just me.

Ryleighsmom 03/30/2017 #

^^Agree with all the above. Who will angel if we get flaked on?

asddsa28 03/30/2017 #

I wish I could do this. Even with all the Stickers I have I dont know if I have 1000 to send out. I hope you do this again some time.

petaluda 03/30/2017 #

Once I did 100 and I was setting aside a few at a time. It took time, but since we have the option to send entire sheets it will go faster I think I will join the international one .

@Bhindblueeyes -, You have some great points! I think allowing newbies might up the risk factor, so I do belive keeping it to seasoned swappers would be more beneficial. I will make those changes now.

Unfortunately, due to the size of this swap, and that I am hosting both an INT and US version, I have not committed to angel. However I am very particular when it comes to assigning partners, and I strive to do my best to look through all profiles prior to assigning. That being the case I can say if there does happen to be an issue, I will do my best to resolve it, though I am very picky with my participants. I will ban anyone I do feel necessary, I have certainly done so in the past. I'm very weary of any 1s or 3s, I know sometimes things happen, and so for example if someone had a 3 on their ratings roster occurring over a year ago, but all of their ratings since have been acceptable, I'll look at the comments pertaining to that rating. If there is resolution within the comments, and the swapper has been in good standing since with 5s and hearts, I'm more inclined to include them in my swaps. If a swapper has a recent 3, or a 3 without visible resolution, I would be uncomfortable including them in a swap of this size, due to that. 1s I am very very strict over. I very VERY rarely include swappers who have 1s in their rosters. In fact if I recall the only time I did so was a swapper who had a single 1, no 3s the one was from over 5 years ago, and had comments trying to resolve the matter, however that swapper's recipient ended up leaving swap-bot and it was never resolved. This being the case, it is certainly your choice to join or not, and if you'd like you're more than welcome to host a version of this swap with your requirement preferences :) True, it is a quick turnaround, though because it is senders choice participants may start putting together their stickers now, or as early as they'd like, so they are ready to mail out within a few days of partner assigning. It certainly is lovely to take a peek at your partners profile to make it special, however it is not a requirement, so I've made the time line reflect that. If there is more preference for a longer time between assigned partners and send date, I'd be happy to extend it, I just like the idea of making it a quick de-stash kind of thing, without too much pressure of profile specifics. P.S. I love your Swap-Bot handle! One of my favorite songs growing up :)

@Ryleighsmom -I agree, it is a risk to join a larger swap without knowing for sure if you will be flaked upon or not. I do my best to thoroughly go over profiles prior to assigning partners, to ban any participants that may seem iffy or unreliable. It's certainly up to you to join or if you prefer not to join. I have done this swap in the past, US and INT versions, and have had success doing so. This is why I've chosen to host another one :)

@asddsa28 -This is the second time I've hosted these swaps, the US and INT versions, so I'd love to do another one! I was thinking of doing a smaller version of this swap as well, around 300 stickers, for those who do not have quite a large amount of stickers to swap!

@petaluda -True! It's certainly much quicker when including sticker sheets ^_^ It also makes your package thinner and I think that may help out with shipping as well!

I would very much like to do this swap, but find it hard to gather 1000 stickers without including a few various Holiday styles. Is it possible, if we check with our partner first, to include several Christmas, Valentine, or Halloween stickers? I would not send these if my partner prefers not to receive them. I, for one, would do anything for 1000 Halloween stickers, LOL.

Jsereg001 04/ 2/2017 #

I am excited about this swap. I have my box ready to go and I am surprised that I had so many stickers!

tlemon4 04/ 5/2017 #

Are letter stickers ok, & stickers that are sayings/quotes?

Stuckinsideacloud 04/ 7/2017 #

@Rabbitfreedom -Sure! If your partner prefers or doesn't mind holiday stickers, I don't see why not! I feel the same way ^_^ I love loOooooOOoove Halloween stickers! Though I just left it this way because too often I've seen large sticker swaps like this consist of mostly holiday stickers, many of which were even very out of season. Just easier to put them on the back burner list.

@Jsereg001 -I know right?! I feel the same way! That's why I thought a swap this large would be great! I know not everyone may apply, but some of us have just accumulated this huge mass of stickers, and a GIANT binge is a great way to get them moving!

@tlemon4 -Sayings and quotes would be more than fine, though no alphabet stickers please. Many people who collect stickers do use the alphabets for paper crafts and whatnot, but just as many who collect stickers have no use for letters, so I'd like to keep this one letter free. Thank you for the question!
