THC: Marbled Stain

Wet the surface of your ATC with water from a spray bottle with a fine mist. Make sure the surface is completely saturated. While the surface is wet, apply Distress Stain. Do not use paint. These are bottles of stain.

Continue adding Distress Stain with various colors. I used Walnut, Rusty Hinge, Old Paper & Broken China.

Begin drying the stained ATC & while doing this, spritz with water to blend the colors. I struggled with this part, so I did some spritzing before I started the drying process.

Finish the ATC anyway you want as long as some of your background shows thru. Be sure to add a sturdy backing.
