NEWBIES ONLY/ BACKWARDS Swap!

Hi there. I'd love to join, but i think 3 swappers is pretty heavy on the pocket for postage. And can we list down some of the things that we want to send or don't want to receive? Because ribbons are of no use to me. And what are cardstocks?

cardstock is just thicker paper...it is used for ATCs, art projects..i suppose we could put in the comments section items you might not want to send. But 3 packages does not cost alot to send. Most of these items are flat and weight next to nothing. One package to send will cost less than 1.00 to send. Most swaps on here cost much much more than that! If you can not spend a couple bucks to send out a couple packages, then you really have no business on swap bot to be honest!

:) no problem! Like i mentioned...these items are all pretty lightweight and do not cost much to send

I really like the idea of this swap. I am new, but have participated in a few (no feedback yet). I don't really use ribbon too often or gel pens, I never have luck with them, I always get broken or dry ones (not from swaps but from the store!)... Thanks

okay can we try to limit the items to our do not send list?? asking people to not send you 7 items is a bit annoying...maybe people do not have access to certain items...SO please...if you do not want certain items sent to you...list ONLY 3. if you list more, i will delte your post! This is for people who are just getting the hang of this swap and they do not need to go out searching for specific items...so ONLY 3 "do not send" items please

Nylelyn, if you do get ribbon, you can always swap it forward in a "random things" swap later on.

cloverst- yes those are 3 unused postage stamps. so if you live in the USA dn your partner lives in the UK..cant really send that...lol

I just sent out 5 packages for 3 swaps - it can be a lot fun!! And postage is not really very much for these type of items (postage for sock swap was .65) - let's just enjoy !!

I can't be in this cause I'm not a newbe, but I just wanted to say it's a great idea and I wish a lot of luck to everyone! The only no send I had so far are from people who were actually swap-bot oldies, I think newbes get bad reputations for no good reason.

Just so my partners know, I will be sending you an ATC and a handmade charm/pendant. I would rather create for you than just go out and buy stuff. I would prefer similar items, but please no stickers or ribbon. I just don't utilize them in my art. I'm always looking for good low sodium recipes, and/or dairy free ones. an ATC is a artistic trading card. it is the size of a baseall card and has some sort of theme on the fornt...they are mini art cards

This is my first swap, though I have also signed up for 2 others now. As I am in the UK, US stamps are of no use to me, and I would also prefer not to receive ribbon. Anything else would be welcome. I am really looking forward to choosing, sending and receiving these swap items.

Thanks for hosting this swap, I look forward to coming up with nice things for my partners! To those sending to me, my profile should give you a good indication of my personality and preferences, but if you're curious the things I'd most like from the list are stamps, gel pens, ribbon, stickers, labels, handmade items, or ATCs. For the ribbon and stickers, I prefer colorful and artsy, not kid or crafty so much.

Oh, of course I forgot to say...I'm in Italy...so any stam from foreign country would be of no use for me... :)

just to help out my partners (whoever you may be): even if you live in a different country from me, I wouldn't mind getting stamps, because i'm a stamp collector. in fact, if you wanna save cash, why any used stamps is fine enough. so don't worry about getting a bad rating for that. (= in fact i'll appreciate it even more.

I'm sorry I'm running a tad behind schedule. I did make it to the post office earlier today, but this is the first chance I've had to get online and post. Work, school, and my eldest daughter's 13th birthday have had me insane this week.

One is going under 100 miles away, so should easily be there by Monday. The other package is winging its way all the way to Sacramento...it may take a bit longer. My 10yo picked out the mailers and helped to pack and address them. She may have had more fun than I did!
