Description:

These days a tall size Caramel Macchiato and a petite vanilla bean scone at Starbucks (my favorite!) costs about $5.00. Because they are both delicious, it's hard to savor them and before I know it they're both gone. :(

For about a dollar less than that in postage, we can send 8 partners, 8 different washi tape samples (see note below). This will give us all 64 washi tape samples to play with, and when I hosted this swap in a group, some folks sent a few extras so there is a potential for even more washi to play with!! :) Oh my, the anticipation of receiving all that happy washi in our mailboxes - how can we stand it?! LOL!!

Each tape sample needs to be a minimum of 18 inches in length (personally I wrap 9 times around a standard playing card; it gives a little extra) and be wrapped around a shiny surface for easy removing. Playing cards work well (if from China, please wrap them with packing tape first), but feel free to use another method or size of card. If you lay your wrapped playing cards side by side and add a little snippet of washi tape to the center, they'll stay together and flat for mailing. With a little note inside, some strips of washi decor on the outside, each one will mail for one forever first class stamp.

(Note: Please don't send shiny deco/plastic tapes, Dollar Store brand tapes, fabric tapes, regular scotch tapes, or solid color tapes.)

Won't you forego one latte & scone and come out to play? Or get the latte & scone anyway and enjoy them while you wrap up your tapes! ;)

This swap is sender's choice so we can all start wrapping our tapes now if we want to.

Minimum rating to join: 4.99 - yes an almost-perfect score. No 1s or 3s in the last 8 months and you must have completed and been rated favorably for at least 15 Type 2 or 3 swaps recently. Flakers need not apply. Swapping is supposed to be fun for everyone.

We're half way there; just 4 more folks (although more than 4 would be fabulous) and this swap is a go. :)

I was thinking the same thing. Come on watchers make a commitment, haha. I was so tempted to get started on the washi sample cards.

If a card is 2.5 inches wide. One full wrap around is 5 inches. So 2 full times around would be 10. 3 full times is 15, and Ta da, see story problems in elementary school come time. 4 full times around is 20 inches. Or as our host stated she likes to do 9 times. I sure never liked math much, but really it is used daily. Just not Trig. or calculus. I don't use them and don't even remember what we were doing.

Yes, I am not an official Wrapper! Can you give me a beat?
