melco, sorry you feel that way. Just trying to make a point that we all have talents. Unlike high school, where everyone is constantly judged, not part of the cool group or the jocks or whatever. So I guess you are right, this is not high school!

Allowing oneself to take the wording of his swap personally, leaving nasty comments on said swaps' page, creating/joining a swap specifically mocking the hated swap, and then verbally high-fiving each other in the comments is truly high school-level behavior. It's this type of behavior that creates drama, and Swap Bot should be a drama-free zone. Am I wrong?

I agree that the details of the ARTist TC swap may be poorly worded, but it's probably a little more appropriate to send the coordinator a private message with your frustrations.

I find it ironic that the coordinator of this swap created it to welcome everyone with or without artistic talent, and then put restrictions on who could join.

melco, the restriction was purely to safeguard more seasoned swappers from being flaked upon. While excluding some swappers may not guarantee that, it does make it a more enjoyable experience when you know some if not all those you are swapping with. It would have been ironic if I said, you must get all hearts and high praise for your ATCs in the comments section of your ratings to join!

I didn't feel the need to pm the host of the other swap...it's his swap to word or conduct any way he pleases. And I am free to do the same. If you are against the drama that this seems to have stirred, then I am curious as to why you returned to this swap page? I think that is called irony.
