Description:

I'm very new to (and not very confident with) Pocket Letters, so this is a beginner level swap. Experienced swappers are welcome to join in, too!

To learn about Pocket Letters, I used THIS site, so if you are looking for a starting point, it may help.

The theme for this Pocket Letter is YOU. This will be all about you. You will use a 9 pocket sleeve, and fill in each of the 9 pockets with papers/cards decorated about things you like, your life, your interests. There are no tuck in/ goodies/ gifts required for this letter, so it can fold and mail fairly flat and lightweight. You may add items, if you wish, but it is not a requirement.

You are required to include a short letter folded & tucked into the center pocket - it can be just about one page, and be sure to put the swap name and your swap ID in the letter, so you can be rated. Explain why you chose the images you did for your pocket letter.

Example: In my pocket letter, I might include an image of Robert Downey Jr as Chaplin, as it is one of my favorite movies, and he is one of my favorite actors. Showing on the back of the pocket, I could list the movies starring him that I've read and enjoyed, then in the letter I could explain when I saw the movie, what I liked about the movie or his acting, etc... Does that make sense? :) You should use your favorite colors, designs, favorite quotes, all things that reflect you and your likes and interests.

You can fold the PL into thirds, and it should fit in a standard business size envelope. If you don't add goodies or tuck ins, it should be flat for mailing. Please be sure to add enough postage for mailing. :)

Please take time to decorate your pockets. This is a type 3 swap, so you should spend some time organizing the designs. But this is about you, so you can start organizing and crafting before partners are assigned. Your PL doesn't have to look like the ones in the link above, but be sure the edges are cut neatly and it is nice and neat.

This swap will be International, and you will have 1 partner. You will have 3 weeks from sign up to send by, so please be sure you can send on time. :)

Rating requirements: For this swap, you need to have a 4.99 or above rating, no 1's or 3's in the last 6 months, and no unresolved 1's or 3's on your record (just explain, we know life happens). You must also have a minimum of 20 completed, rated type 3 (only) swaps by sign up date. You must also have a very well filled out profile with no late swaps. There is no perfect way to detect a "good swapper", but these are the tools we have.

You will need to sign into your account within 2 days of sign up date

If I have questions about your profile or your ratings, I will contact you. If you do not reply to the comment, you will be banned from the swap. I'm a big believer in communication, and if you are un-willing to reply to a PM, I'm not going to feel comfortable with allowing you into this swap.

If you have any questions about this swap - or comments - please send me a PM. I don't check comments often, but do check my messages every day.

I'm going to be tough on requirements for this - I will angel the swap, once contact has been made and ratings have been given.

Please note! If you have been in any of the other swaps I've hosted, and did not reply to my PM's, you will be banned from future swaps. Communication please!
