Mid Winter Pick Me Up Swap!

Once Christmas and New Years is over, I always end up a little blue, with months of cold and snow still to endure. No twinkling lights, no parties, no gifts...bah!

So this is a swap to pick us up. First, there is the fun of finding these items. Second, there is the fun of receiving your swap!

I am sorry to make this one USA only. I LOVE getting cool stuff from other countries. Sadly the economy is so bad here that I just can't afford to ship to say...Thailand. So it's totally selfish of me but please know I love the rest of the world's swappers too. (hm I may make a cheap-to-mail swap just for international peeps...stay tuned)

Anyway I REQUIRE A DETAILED PROFILE to be in this swap. Check out mine if you need ideas. Because your partenrs are going on what is on your profile and they need the help! You can ALSO make a comment here with ideas for each category...but I would strongly encourage you to add the information to your own profile for future swaps!

You will have two partners. For each partner you will check out their profile for these answers. You will send your partner one items for each category --a total of 5 per partner:

1. Something they would like to smell.
2. Something they would like to taste.
3. Something you made for them.
4. Something in their favorite color.
5. Something they like to collect.

No, you cannot combine categories -- please send 5 items total. Please include a note telling your partner what you picked for each category and why.

BE CREATIVE. For instance -- Something they would like to smell... it could be a scented candle (even a tealight), some incense, a piece of candy, a lip gloss, some hand cream, if they like to bake or cook maybe their favorite spice, a tea, etc.

Something they would like to taste... yes it could be candy... or cookies you baked.... or a packet of chips they might like... or a flavored tea or cocoa...but for me, maybe a recipe or a spice I would like to use...or something else...

Something you made for them.... if you are not crafty maybe you'd like to bake them something? You can make some notecards... a decorated journal...a bookmark... an ATC... a dollie or a matchbox or a shrine.... again, it's based on what they would like. This can include lots of other categories -- for instance I really like OWLS and someone once made me an owl bookmark, which I love. Please make sure the item you make takes into account your partner's taste and likes.

Something in their favorite color.... this could be anything! As simple as candy with a wrapper in their favorite color, to something more complicated.

Something they like to collect.... This will encompass ANYTHING ON THEIR PROFILE THEY SAY THEY LIKE. For instance, I say I collect handmade brooms, which are hard to find. But if you send me something related to owls, the beach, oceans, Vermeer. architecture, etc... any of that will count. Just tell me in your note. Therefore, anything your partner says they like to receive will count for this one.
