October Stocking Stuffer: Halloween Ornament

You will make (or purchase) one handmade Halloween ornament for your partner. I included the option to purchase the ornie, as holiday craft shows will be popping up and cool handmade items are going to soon be available. The ornament is meant to be displayed, possibly on a Halloween tree, so it should have a loop or hook or some way to hang it. Some ornaments just sit perfectly on a branch, in which case, they would not need a loop. You can use some paper components in this ornament but it needs to be sturdy and well made - a base made from cardboard instead of paper for example. The size should be about 3"- 6" (give or take a bit), not counting the hanger. It might be nice to check profiles for Halloween loves, but this is sender's choice.

Some ideas...a small altered witch doll or voodoo doll, a clothes pin doll, an altered light bulb, vintage style crepe paper/ribbon ornie, a decorated matchbox, an altered vintage spool, a decorated baby spoon, a sewn stuffie, a miniature embroidery in a hoop...whatever you love to make!

Tag the wrapped ornament with sender's name, swap name and group name. You are welcome to open your ornament when it arrives (I will be doing this!), or save it as a stocking stuffer. Please rate your partner when your swap arrives.
