Hey Everyone! I was thinking about Xmas day and how for some people it is not traditionally stress free, it could normally be a quiet day, or perhaps a difficult day with certain family members. Or it could be really nice. In any case this Swap is to help people to a share a little and connect with another human on Xmas day. Think of it as a space for support on Xmas day - and as a swap it's quick and easy! Instructions: On Xmas day, email your partner an update on your day. A minimum of 3 sentences, explain how it's going, any highlights or lowlights so far... Please be patient as it is an international swap and Xmas day will depend on the time zone! Email your partner on Xmas day, just your honest account of what is happening where you are. I hope this is clear, please message me if you have any questions - and Merry Christmas Everyone!

I'm a newbie too. I haven't got my partner's name yet. Does anyone know what the VivaLaDiane post means? What's a double profiler mean and how does it affect the swaps?

Hi Everyone -

Firstly Merry Christmas!

Just a message to let you know partners have been assigned and there is no need to worry.

The post from VivaLaDiane is incorrect - they also messaged me last night, I don’t know why they are doing this, especially on xmas eve.

But it started when they read on my profile that I have returned to swapbot after a long break, and they thought I was using 2 accounts. I had to do some reading up on the topic late last night and it seems the policy is one account only, however the old account was found last night and deleted forever as according to the Swapbot help pages guide. So there is no problem and never was. I believe they have this policy to stop people who are banned from coming back. But I’m sure if they did come back, they wouldn’t write on their profile that they are coming back after a long break (which i have taken down now to avoid any more confusion). Anyway I hope that puts that to rest.
