Valentine Movie Swap

With the economy the way it is now and may be for sometime to come, I have found myself alone on holidays, just me and my baby girl as my fiancee has had to work almost every holiday and will probably have to work on Valentine's Day as well. So I thought for all of us who are either single or will be alone for most or part of Valentine's Day (gentlemen this goes for you too) for whatever reason, why not sit down to a new romantic drama or comedy and relax with a chocloate bar or candy? Thus this swap was created.

Swap Criteria/Details:

Please send one new romantic comedy or romantic drama genre of movie and either a chocolate bar or small box of chocolates (or some other candy if your partner does not like chocolate) to your swap partner for Valentine's Day (approximate limit about $15.00 for movie and candy combined before shipping costs). If you have any preferences please list them here as to whether you prefer comedy or drama and what type of candy you like. Your partner should try to accomodate your preferences but is not a requirement as long as they meet swap criteria. But please don't send your partner chocolate if they, for example, are allergic to it, try to be thoughtful as you would want your partner to be when selecting for you.

Sorry for all you wonderful International swappers but due to the cost for shipping and the possible confusion with DVD players, regions, etc. I have decided to make this a U.S. only swap. If anyone would like to copy this one and do an International version please do so with my blessing. Also, I am editing this swap to include the whole of North America, which means all you Canadians can join now too since we are all region 1 DVD's anyway and shouldn't have a problem with viewing them.

Ratings:

As this is a slightly more expensive swap I will require a rating of 5.0. If for some reason you are below that rating please pm me to explain. I understand there have been some unfair ratings and such going on from reading the forums. If you can explain and I can verify you will be allowed to join the swap. I know it may seem like strict rules but it would be horrible to get flaked on for Valentine's day and the point to to cheer someone and let them know someone is thinking of them. Absolutely no recent no sends. Newbies are welcomed with 3 completed swaps (email swaps do not count as part of the 3) by the sign up date and a profile filled out to my liking.

Also, please remember to rate the swap for meeting criteria; extras are nice but are not a requirement to give a heart. A heart should be based on how thoughtful and put together the actual swap was. Of course if you wish to send extras please do so, they are always a wonderful surprise and appreciated. I am making the send date about 2 weeks before the actual holiday so we all get them in time.

Now that all of the rules are stated I want to say that this will be a very fun swap and I hope to have many great swappers join. I am putting this up a little early so people can take advantage of the after Christmas sales on movies and any extras they may wish to send along with the movie. Please be as creative as you wish or can be. I really hope to uplift many a person's spirit this Valentine's Day and let everyone know they are special!
