Description:
For this series we will be creating a tarot deck one card at a time! We will start with the Major Arcana deck and the first card is: The Fool the only requirements for all the cards is that it must represent the theme of the traditional card (interpretation is up to you), the name of the card must be on it somewhere and the corresponding value must also appear in roman numerals, I.E. The Fool is XXII, You can find information on the deck on Wiki, I will put the web page link in the comments that I am using. Please do not just sticker slap (stickers are ok to use just don't let that be all you use.) be sure to include the swap name and your swap bot name on the back of your card. 4.98 rating and no recent 1s or 3s without explanation. Please message me if you have questions since I do not get notifications of comments and most likely wont get them until I assign partners.

Why do most of the images of The Fool cards that I find have a zero instead of a XXII?

How would signing the card work? I assume (atleast in my case) that the users may want to make a full usable Tarot deck with these cards, so having writing on the backs might be odd. What do you think, for the swap?

Also, XXII is the roman numeral for 22, correct? Roman Numerals don't have a Zero, so most deck just use "0" to suffice, from what I've seen.

From what I have read depending on the deck there is either a 0 or the numerals if you reference the page link I attached. I just chose the numeral option. As for signing I thought that too, so maybe small in one of the corners on the back or in a corner on the front or just in the note if that is what you choose! Just be aware someone who sends to you may not decorate the back and just sign it. I will be making the back so it will be usable. Depending I may change the swap requirements to include a decorated back so they are usable, it was something I debated but didnt know if people would want to take the time to do it.

The fool is like the Ace of a card deck where it depending it can trump the king or come before 2. Which is why you see 0 sometimes as the first card or the numerals for 22 as the last card.

for the backs, i would just sign and date them as normal. if the recipient wants to use them like a real deck, they could go to a game store and pick out a set of card sleeves with blank backs like they use in professional card game tournaments
