Description:

Earth Day is April 22nd, and National Arbor Day is April 26th. Let's celebrate with a handmade post card swap! :)

This swap will be USA only, and you will have 1 partner. IF your are outside the USA and would like to do a swap like this please send me a PM - I'll consider setting up an International swap, or a private swap. :)

New swappers are welcome to join this swap, but you must have a total of at least 5 type 2 or 3 swaps. No unrated swappers, and type 1 swaps don't 'count' for the total. Unrated swappers may PM me and I'll consider a private swap to help you get started.

Established swappers should have a rating of 4.98 or above, with no unresolved 1's. All swappers need to sign in within 3 days of sign up date, and all profiles must be very well filled out with TEXT - not photos.

OK, now that all that's out of the way! The swap!

Make one post card for your partner. You should use recycled or up-cycled items as much as possible, and images should be themed in Earth Day, trees, recycling, environmental themes.

You can draw a picture, use magazine images, a photo you took, washi tape, a nicely printed image from the internet - no artistic abilities are needed for this swap, but please take your time and send your partner something to be proud of.

There will be a short turn around time for this swap! This swap is not profile based, so you can start on it now and have it ready to send out on time. You should not sign up for the swap if you cannot mail on time. I angel all of the swaps I host, once ratings have been given and contact has been made.

In the US, a standard size post card (to mail for $0.35) is 6 inches by 4.25 inches, and shouldn't be more than 1/4 inch thick. For first class postage rates ($0.55), you can send a card no larger than 11.5 inches by 6 inches in size. For this swap you can send either size.

On the message side, please be sure to include the full swap name, your swap-bot ID the date and a nice message to your partner about anything of your choice.

If you have ANY questions or comments about the swap, please send me a PM. I do not check comments left below very often, and will likely miss your question. I will respond as quickly as possible. If you have any information about a swapper who has signed up please send me a PM about that person rather than leaving comments below. Thank you. I appreciate info from those with more experience, but I'd rather receive it privately. Thank you. :)
