Upcycled Paper Bag to Letter: All about Me!

I came across the picture I have for this swap on pinterest and didn't find much else about it. I love the idea of taking a paper bag and upcycling it into something else....mail art!

For this swap, you will find, barter, steal, a paper bag, can be any kind, I know some businesses give out ones with handles and have different colors and sizes. You can use any color, size, or shape as long as it was once a paper bag. Use one side of your bag, use the whole thing or quarter it. Just so long as it's a paper bag and can be folded into a mailable envelope.

You will create little bubbles or squares or whatever your heart desires and tell a little about yourself. You can include as much or as little as you want about yourself as long as you fill your page. Yes, these are ideas for classrooms, but you get the idea. It's made to be fun and that's what this swap is all about is having fun sharing what we like and maybe making a new friend in the process!

You must decorate and write or type on your paper bag in some fashion like the examples above or the photo for the swap.

Get creative, use watercolors, markers, gel pens, print some of your answers and glue them on.... make it uniquely YOU!

I will let you decide how you will fold your upcycled paper bag into an envelope. There are many different ways to fold envelopes, so get creative. If you need ideas look on google and pinterest and type in envelope making...

To summarize: 1 paper bag in any size or shape as long as it can be folded into a mailable envelope 2 "All About Me" on your paper bag to share who you are

3 paper bag folded into an envelope to mail to your partner--Must be mailed without being in an envelope..if you mail in an envelope then you didn't follow directions. 4 mail to your partner, get rated and maybe make a new penpal friend!
