Description:

Hello all! Welcome to the Journal Swap!

Here's how this swap works. Get a journal and fill it out over a month. You can make a journal or do a junk journal. I do not have a journal size/type requirement. Use your best judgment that you can send a nice and journal that is worth your partner's time. However, your journal must be larger than a pocket journal (a journal that can fit in your back pocket).

You can do whatever you want in your journal, just make sure you fill it with stories, journal entries, collages, art, recipes, whatever you want. Your goal should be to fill a page/pages every day. Do not join this swap unless you can commit to at least doing an entry every day. We all know life happens so if you miss a day just make it up. Do not send a journal you have previously made. The goal is you work on this journal every day throughout the month. Don't join if you can not commit.

IMPORTANT: Each entry should be something of substance. Please put some thought and work into this so that your partner receives something that they will enjoy.

This journal will start on December 1st and end on December 31st. So you should fill up the journal throughout the month and mail it by January 8th, 2021.

Requirements to Participate:

-No 3 or 1 rating within the last 6 months. (If you would like to be considered please message me with details on a low rating.)

-You must have participated in at least 5 other type 3 swaps.

-No previous flakers.

When you receive your journal, rate it on how well it is filled out, not necessarily if what is in it is completely tailored to your tastes. It is the creator's choice of what they include in their journal.

DO NOT FLAKE ON YOUR PARTNER! This is not a swap I can angel, so please commit yourself to doing this fully if you sign up. If something does happen and you are unable to finish or have a chunk of time missing, be prepared to send what you have and get in touch with your partner to work it out. Please let me know as well.

Any questions, message me!

Do you need to date the pages? If so, do the pages have to be in order? For example, can I randomly flip to a page, complete it, date it if necessary, and do the same thing the next time I work on it?

I can't wait to join this swap, for now watching! I sent off my second journal a few days ago and received my partner's today! It's so much fun!

@craftykathy1 I would say most people date their pages and it works out to a page a day or several pages a day depending on the style of the journal. That's more the idea. But as long as you have enough pages/entries for one a day for the month I guess you can do that.
