Easy Peasy Newbie Swap NA only #2

you will have 1 swap buddy to whom you will send 1 hand crafted item of your choice (NO ATCs) that you can create from items in your stash already. DO NOT go out & buy anything for this swap. I am making this soo easy.

Your item must have a selling value of between $5-10, such as 3 crocheted cotton washcloths, 3 bars of handmade soaps, a stuffed animal, hand embroidered pillowcases, a knitted headband, one of those slings for your hot coffee cup, dish towel & pot holder set, etc etc etc.

It must be useful! Sorry no knick-knacks or non-wearable art to sit on a shelf. A. I have no shelves to house things. B. I want to really use what I get & I bet you do, too. That means -- hats, scarves, tote bags, purses, yoga mat bags, lap throws, fingerless gloves....etc etc USEABLE.

These are not to be cheap ass crappy crafts. Create a work of art that you would swoon over should you be gifted it. I want you to have fits about actually putting it in a box to send far away. ;)

REQUIREMENTS == let's get the sticky red tape outta the way.

A. I will ONLY allow newbies (or folks w/o ratings yet), as we were all newbies to begin with and how else can you NOT be a newbie but to do a swap??? BUT do not join unless you are 115% committed to showing oldies what a dedicated newbie candobie.

B. You MUST have a filled out profile & You MUST use your swap buddy's profile to tailor your craft item in some way to their likes, such as colour or motif.

C. North America only to minimize shipping costs for those just getting their swap-toes wet.

D. You MUST rate your swap buddy after the items arrive as this swap is set up to help newbies get ratings as well as to prove themselves.

E. PLEASE be serious about sending. It sucks to get "forgotten." I know. I have been the one waiting by my mailbox and in days gone by when my youngest was very young, I, too, forgot to get something out. Luckily for me it was a friend and she understood the slightly longer wait. On here, it is a different environment and the honour system is taken very seriously. Flake and the Swap-Bot world knows about it.

F. If you do NOT reply to my e-mails regarding details you WILL be dropped. I will check ALL profiles 1st & if I NEED to ask for more info you NEED to reply w/in 2 DAYS or you will be BANNED. If when I e-mail for updates and you do NOT reply w/i 2 days you will be organized out of the swap - I will assume you are not following thru and will assign the newbie who WAS going to send to you to send to your buddy. AND you will be put on the list of "bad" swappers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I will be reading ALL the profiles and will e-mail you to ask you to provide more info if I find it way too sketchy, but I will only e-mail once. If you have not added details by the deadline I will drop you.

I will be checking in on you during the crafting period to be sure you are working on the craft, and I may even ask what you are sending to ensure it is equitable. If I think it does not meet the $5-10 requirement I will tell you.

This may sound "bossy", but I only want to help you send the best newbie swap item and be sure all who join this are not flaked on.

Easy Peasy NA only #1 seems to be going VERY VERY well. I expect the same from this swap! Remember this is supposed to be fun, not a place to take advantage of others.
