BTH: Getting to Know One Another - Witchy Letter

Way back when I started this group, I hosted this swap...but since membership has changed, I though I'd do a round 2! It's fairly straightforward - you'll have one partner to whom you send a handwritten letter talking about your path! Tell them how you came to be where you are on your spiritual journey, what you believe, and what you'd like to achieve. With the letter, send a small, profile based surprise such as a stone, loose tarot card, pendant, charm, ephemera, herb sachet...you get the picture!

The letter should be at least two sheets (front and back) of letterset sized stationery or 1 sheet (front and back) of A4/8.5x11 paper. If you're using plain paper, please doll it up a bit with stickers, stamps, or washi - but the focus should really be the content of your letter.

Who knows - maybe you'll get a new pen pal out of this with whom you can grow your path!

This swap shouldn't be more than one stamp to send, international or domestic if you're in the US. So for our US swappers, that's $1.15 if you're paired with someone overseas, or 0.55 for mail within the US.

In a Nutshell

• 1, handwritten letter to 1 partner that discusses your path, beliefs, and journey.

• The letter should be on stationery or decorated paper, and be a minimum of 2 sheets (front and back) of letterset or 1 sheet (front and back) of A4/8.5x11.

• Enclose a small, profile based, pagan themed gift. Items should be new or in new condition. Broken, torn, smelly, pet-hair covered, or otherwise unusable items; or, items that are clearly on your partner's dislike/allergic to list are hard no-gos.

The Administrivia

• Ensure that your name, username, and the swap name are included in the letter.

• Send on time. Rate promptly upon receipt. Sending late without communication warrants a 3 rating and removal from the group. Not rating or having to be chased for a rating also warrants removal from the group. Communicate and rate.

• Rate according to the Swap-Bot Rating Criteria. Failure to rate your partner or to rate correctly will result in your removal from this group.

• If you are going to be late sending, make sure you let your partner and me know prior to the send-by date.

• Hearts are purely at the discretion of the rater.

• If you flake, you will be removed immediately from this group.
