ACTs: Snow Globe Coin

By the end of December, those of us in “snowy” places should have seen some of the white stuff by now. For this swap, you will create 1 snow globe Coin for 1 partner. Add a background to your 2.5” Coin. Then create a scene of of your choice—silhouette, trees, persons or animals. Attach dimensional double-sided tape around the circle, place glitter, sequins, mini beads, etc. over your design and adhere a cut-to-size clear acrylic cover. Do not overstuff—it doesn’t take too much fill to give the effect you are looking for. Place a border of tape, ribbon, metal tape, etc, over the edge of the Coin to hide the seal.

Be sure to back your work with a sturdy material, such as 140# watercolor paper, and include your name, date created, group name, and title of swap. Place in protective cover or sleeve before putting in mailing envelope to send.
