HPC: Something Almost Red

This is a continuation of the series of color swaps for The Handmade Postcard Club, originally hosted by TeraBACat, then continued by sunnysidey.

For this swap, you should make two postcards with the theme "Almost Red." That can be interpreted as you wish, but my original idea is to use shades of red other than the true primary color (brook red, brick red, indian red, orange red, neon red, scarlet, etc.).

Send one card to each of your two partners. Style is sender's choice. Make both cards the same or tailor each to your partner's preferences. Please include a note on the back of your postcard telling your partner something about your interpretation of the theme...or whatever other interesting thing you can think to say. Most importantly, have fun!
