A Letter about our Masquerade Ball

Dear Ladies,

Our lovely Midsummer Masque was a beautiful evening with dancing and laughter. Did you guess who was behind each mask or were you surprised at midnight when the masks were removed? Was there a dance with someone whom you could not place? What was your favourite costume of the evening? So many lovely things to remember about such an enchanting evening.

For this swap we will be recalling all the delights of our ball and writing them in a letter to one of our friends or family who live far. Tell them of your costume, your favourite dance or music or who was the best dancer to partner you. Whom did you sit at dinner with and of what did you chat? Make this a newsy, interesting letter.

You will have one partner for this swap and to that partner you will send a letter by email that is at least half a typed page, and if you care to elaborate more, that is perfectly fine. Talk about the guests, the costumes, the conversation; just make your letter something your partner will enjoy receiving.
